Murphy Oil and Soap ks still the most effective cleaner for all kinds of floors. It works very well even with my bathroom tiles

I was nervous about this purchase after I read all of the recent reviews that said it arrived leaking all over the place. Mine was packaged fine and there was a seal under the cap, so it did not leak or spill at all. Not sure if I just got lucky or they finally fixed the issue. I mixed it with water and used it to clean very dirty hardwood floors and solid wood cabinetry. Everything cleaned up really well. I like that this is available in a gallon size, and the price is very reasonable compared to other wood floor cleaners. It looked like some reviews were complaining about the scent…well, it smells like citronella, which is exactly what it says on the bottle. I bought this to use in a house that we are flipping, however I am probably going to start using this on my own wood floors at home instead of the bona cleaner I’ve been using. This seems to do a better job!

My Grandmother used Murphys , my mother used Murphys and now I use Murphys . It’s light clean scent not only pleases but brings back the best of memories . It leaves your wood floors with a natural light shine and a wonderful barefoot clean . If your looking for a high gloss shine this is not for you . Many people apply with a soaking wet mop , wrong , apply with a damp mop and ring the mop out often . It is not the easiest clean but the end result are worth it .

Because this is a liquid cleaner, and very badly packed. the whole top, cover and handle top arrived squashed. That makes is very hard to use. I am fairly sure that the product inside is fine. Packers should be trained to bubble wrap or cardboard the bottles before boxing them.

I don’t have hard wood floors, but use a cup or so of this in a laundry machine on clothing with stains instead of laundry detergent, especially ink or oil or similar stains, or just let the fabric soak in a bucket for an hour, then swish around for 5-10 minutes and scrub a bit, and you’ll be surprised what it does with minimal relative effort. You *MUST* be careful with print screen t-shirts or similar, or anything glued together. Murphy’s will eat away at it, and if you instantly want a faded t-shirt look, this is a good product to go with. But you can use on parts of the clothing and rinse well to preserve such clothing. No issues with touching it. Environmentally friendly in relative terms. Works awesome on ink or oil or similar stains, and my initial go-to for stain removal. Repeated use of Murphy’s in this way does seem to make a difference too. Then I go to Fels-Naptha laundry bar soap. And only then do I try all the other PIA methods and products that never seem to yield much results for me.
