This starter kit was top quality. I like the glass dispenser as it’s solid and good size for the counter top. I tend to have very sensitive skin and my fingers get dry and cracked but not with this soap! After a week my hands are soft and clean. I also like that it doesn’t squirt out too much foam at once.

Just found out there are plenty of people complaining about the foaming head pump on reddit for years. The foaming head pump was broken when I got it. The replacement was sent to me very quickly. However since then it occasionally not working and my wife had to take the ball out and reassemble it to make it work for a few times. I still have one more tab but the head pump is not working already. Not to mention the consumption is a lot faster than I thought, which kind of beats the purpose. Do not recommend the product. At the end of the day, you create more trash to this world. It might work for you if you don’t get the container but you definitely will be paying a lot more for using their products.

Can’t recommend enough. If you are using hand soap(which you should be), this should be the only kind you’re buying. The value is unmatched and the smells are not overpowering. Love that I can keep reusing my glass container. I would rate this item a 12/10.

I love their tablets, but DO NOT get their hand soap starter kit. I’ve purchased 3 soap dispensers from them. 2 out of 3 still work, but they’re not designed well. The top is suctioned on very tight so when you twist it off, the pump falls apart. It’s difficult to twist back on, foams poorly, and the pump is really stiff from pressure build up after a refill. Again, their soap smells great. Just use a different foam soap dispenser.

Lather (3 stars):All the other soaps we’ve used have a longer lasting lather. The foam soap coming out of my jar doesn’t last as long on my hands for scrubbing, even when compared to other foam soaps. This leaves me with a feeling of “no soap” even though I’m not satisfied my hands are clean enough.I don’t think I use more or less soap than normal, or that I scrub more than normal, but I suppose I would think that regardless. Even with two full pumps, it’s not quite enough. Without getting more soap, I don’t think I could make it through “Happy Birthday Twice” as has become the recommendation. In any case, the lather quality has left me a bit disappointed. I think I’m going to try to mix the next bottle up at a slightly higher concentration…but without markings of any kind on the bottle it’s hard to say what I might want to do.I believe that the ultimate consequence of this is that what appears to be a normal sized bottle of soap is actually less soap than it seems. So you’ll use it faster. And buy more. I’m not a conspiracy kinda person, I doubt this is what the folks that developed this were actually calculating. Unless…Scent (5 stars):The scent is fine. It doesn’t linger on my hands too much, which is about the only thing I care about.I was expecting the scent to be a variety pack on my first purchase of the kit but it’s all the same. The amazon listing says that’s the case, so I don’t know where I got that idea.Pump and Bottle (2 stars):Part of the reason I bought this is that I’m frustrated by the quality of the soap dispensers out there. Even the vanity style reusable dispensers available are cheap, crappy plastic. The bottle here is glass, which gives me some pause, but it’s thick and seems like it’d hold itself together even after slipping off the sink a time or two. I was worried that, without rubber feet, it would be very slippery, but it doesn’t seem to be a problem. The glass base itself seems to have a fair amount of friction. We’ll see how it holds up to soap scum buildup. And kids clumsily knocking it off of the counter onto the tile floor. The pump also seems well made, but for some reason it has an embossing on the top of the pump with the BLUELAND typeface in it. You probably won’t notice it until it gets caked with dirt and develops an “organic drop-shadow”. I think if it were me, I’d prefer not to have my brand identified by the impossible to clean remnants of dirty hands.Edit:Revising my review down a star for the quality of the pump just not lasting. We’re part way through our third tablet and the pump no longer “springs” up when you try to use it. It makes the pump frustrating to use and requires two hands now.

I bought this after using the blue land dishwashing soap (another great product) and am so impressed with the quality. Sometimes, natural or nontox soap doesn’t leave you feeling clean but this one does! The foam allows the product to go a long way, and the bottles last for many many refills (the only reason you’d buy more is to keep in other places around the house!). The tablets are packaged in a low-waste way, and every one smells great.

Liked the soap, liked the idea of the tablets instead of bulky refills. However, the dispenser stopped working on the 2nd fill, no idea what happened. Tried to take it apart and fix it but now I have to pump it 80 times to wash my hands and I don’t see a replacement part for that anywhere.
