This works great.. after running it thru the drip coffee machine the stainless steel pot, which had heavy coffee stains, looks NEW. It looks like coffee pot has never been used! Very Highly Recommended

Did it’s job but not sure how much better it is than using white vinegar.

I have used Goo Gone Coffee maker cleaner for a number of years, it seems to be harder to find at a reasonable rate so I decided to look for something new. Came across the Bar Keepers Friend Coffee Maker cleaner and decided to give it a shot since a two pack is about the same as a one pack for many other brands. Amazing shipped over night, I was worried when I saw it shipped in a packing sleeve and not a box and the driver kind of tossed it on my steps; but both containers survived intact.A little heads up, you will need to read the instructions and be able to perform simple math. Such as use cold water when you are cleaning the whole coffee maker, and hot water if you are cleaning a stand along carafe. Also if your coffeemaker has a “cleaning mode” like mine you should use that because it takes more time to put the cleaner through the maker. Also, if you are cleaning a coffee maker with a carafe or pot, it recommends you let it sit in the pot for 30 minutes after you run it through the coffee maker. After following the instructions using 7 oz of cleaner in my 42 oz water reservoir I had really good results. The “water” in the pot after the process was a very rich coffee color and it had removed all of the stains from my pot and I assume most of the build-up from within the machine itself. The instructions recommended that you run a cycle of fresh water through the brewing process after the cleaning cycle. When I did that I added a coffee filter in the basket and after that cycle completed I was surprised to see a lot of remnants and mineral deposits captured in the filter afterwards. Because of that I ran a second pot of water through the machine and the filter was clean that time.Overall I think it works well on my system. Everyone may not have the same results. I do think you need to make sure you have the correct measurement of cleaner to water (1oz cleaner to 8oz of water ), I also think using the right water temp for the type of cleaning is important, and make sure to mix the cleaner and water before putting it in the system. For now this is my new coffee maker cleaner of choice.

Love this stuff. My hand doesn’t fit in coffee pot to clean it. Alway had to uses brush to try and get it clean. I run a couple oz every other week in coffee maker. Makes it look like new.

This is a phenomenal coffee maker cleaner. Whether you have a drip pot or a percolator, it is fantastic. I used it in my percolator and it came out 100% clean as if it was brand new. Bar Keepers Friend is a trusted brand that I have used for decades and this percolator cleanser is amazing I highly recommend it!!🤗

I had very high hopes for this product, having used Bar Keepers Friend cleaners all over, and getting great results. But on first use, it didn’t work as well as the supermarket cleaners I have used. First, the cycle stopped mid-stream. I had to restart the cycle at least twice. This does often happen when cleaning on the first cycle, so I didn’t think anything of it right away. Then I went into the rinses. I usually do 3-4 rinse cycles. I don’t think one of them completed without my needing to restart a stopped cycle. Tried brewing a few pots. I brew Iced tea almost exclusively, putting two pots of water through the same leaves. Still needed to re-start mid-cycle, at least once. In the 4-6 cycles I did brewing tea, I think it went through one cycle start to finish. Ok, tried the product one more time. This time, though, I did follow the directions for leaving the product in the carafe 30 minutes before starting the rinses. Unfortunately, the same result. Though the carafe came out sparkling clean though after leaving the product in the carafe for the 30 minutes! Three rinse cycles, and none went straight through. After the third, I remembered I had a little remaining supermarket fluid lying about. I’m not sure if it was even half the recommended amount, but I dumped it in with water, and the cleaning cycle and four rinses went straight through without stopping. Maybe it is the design of my Bonavita Coffe maker (bought here!). I decided to give three stars because it did clean the carafe well…

    Definitely works
The product work extremely well and cleaned heavily stained coffee pot.I could not find this in local stores, so could not check on pricing, but Amazon delivered next day

Interior of stainless steel pot looked like new
Even though this is designed to clean the whole coffee maker, I only used it on the pot. Letting the water mixed with the appropriate amount of cleaning solution sit in the pot for about an hour was enough to remove all the stubborn coffee stains in the pot. I did use a round sponge scrubber on an long handle to reach all the areas of the interior because it was not possible to reach in with my hand. Overall, I was very happy with the final result.
